About

My disclaimer – I don’t claim to be skilled nor proficient in the field of handling grief.  What I do claim is to be an expert in MY grief.

I am taking you on the journey of grief with me.   I pretend that my world is full of gumdrops and lollipops but in my head is a movie only Tim Burton could come up with.

Every one handles grief in their own way and this is my journey.

  3. Thank you for sharing your most inner thoughts with me. The fact that you have the courage to share it, is an accomplishment on its own. Family is always here for you, your not alone. Love you.

  5. It takes a real woman to bare her heart and share. It takes a soften heart to want to share to heal others and let them know they are not alone. It takes a heart of gold to give up words that you alone know the meaning. Its takes a lot to give a lot. Thanks, Auntie C

  6. Hannah(Name given to me by Courtney) says:

This has been a most difficult journey for you my dear daughter. No one knows the pain that “you” have and continue to endure. The ability to share your journey has been painful but I believe it is a time such as this that has come to not only share what you feel and continue to experience but to shine a beacon for someone who’s light has grown very dim. You are strong, (more than you know)resilient and have the ability to forge forward as you have done and continue to do. You are an encouragement to me your mother. I love you!

  7. Aundrea, thank you for your courage; you have touched so many with your quiet strength; many that don’t quite know how to tell you this. I just did.

  8. Courtney grew into a beautiful, sophisticated , smart, caring, confident, and photogenic young lady. I remember her pausing in the middle of a conversation to smile for the camera! And her smile never looked fake!
